Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-06

By using Atelaire ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If anything here doesn't sit right with you, please don't use Atelaire.

1. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. One person, one account. You must be 9 years or older. Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent and should use a managed Apple ID under Family Sharing.

2. Your content

You retain all rights to the artwork you create with Atelaire. By exhibiting work to the public Gallery, you grant Atelaire a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that work inside the app (and on our website, with your permission, for editorial purposes only).

You're solely responsible for the prompts you submit and the content you exhibit. Don't generate or upload anything you don't have the right to share.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Violations can result in immediate account suspension or removal. See our Community Guidelines for details on what we moderate.

4. AI generation

Atelaire generates line art using third-party AI services (currently fal.ai). We pass moderation pre-checks on every prompt and post-checks on every exhibited work. Generated content may occasionally include unintended similarities to existing works — Atelaire is not liable for the AI output, but we'll act quickly on any reported issue.

5. Subscription

Atelaire offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions ("Atelaire+") are billed through your Apple App Store account under your chosen plan and renew automatically until canceled. Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Free trials, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their refund policy.

6. DMCA / IP claims

If you believe content on Atelaire infringes your copyright or trademark, send a DMCA notice to [email protected] with: (a) identification of the work, (b) location of the allegedly infringing content, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement under penalty of perjury that the use is not authorized, and (e) your physical or electronic signature. We'll act in good faith under DMCA Safe Harbor.

7. Disclaimers

Atelaire is provided "as is." We make no warranty about uninterrupted service, accuracy of generated content, or retention of data beyond the limits described in our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atelaire and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these terms or our Community Guidelines. You may terminate your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll bump the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in-app before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence. Disputes will be resolved in good faith first; otherwise, in the operator's jurisdiction.

11. Contact
